SYSTUS is a multiphysics simulation software which brings a complete answer to analysis problems. SYSTUS is an implicit code which covers fields as diverse as civil and mechanical engineering, energy and transportation.

Graphical User Interface

The user-friendly GUI dramatically simplifies the work of the engineer. The Hypertext context-sensitive on-line help is available at all times, as well as computation sheets for easy data input and a set of advanced 3D graphic functions.

Integrated Solid Modeling

The advanced solid modeling of SYSTUS simplifies part construction, offers superior visualization and very efficient construction tools as well as direct topological transfers from CAD systems.

Meshing Capabilities

SYSTUS provides engineers with very powerful algorithms for the generation of Finite Element models. Experienced mesh generators are included to take into account physical phenomena and their specificities. Automatic surface and solid meshers are available to generate any kind of finite Elements.

Physical Model Creation

SYSTUS offers a complete choice of finite elements for mechanical, thermal and electromagnetics analysis and consequently an extensive modeling scope. All tools necessary for modeling the analysis, including reusable material libraries, are available in the integrated SYSTUS pre-processor.

Model-Checking Tools

SYSTUS provides numerous tools for editing information or displaying geometrical aspect criteria and element quality parameter. Graphical verification is available at each step of the physical model creation, as well as powerful tools for modifying, splitting, associating finite elements meshes. Integrity of the FE model is thus always guaranteed.

Solvers

Reliable and performing solvers are available for static, dynamics, heat transfer and electromagnetic linear and non-linear analysis. Direct as well as iterative solvers may efficiently solve symmetrical or non-symmetrical systems and allow to dramatically reduce disk space and execution time. Substructuring techniques enables very large linear or non-linear systems of static or dynamic analysis to be solved in an economical and elegant manner.

Interactive Graphical Post-Processor

The SYSTUS industry-specific post-processor helps engineers easily analyze results. High performance viewing tools immediately enable the visualization and manipulation of results quantities to better understand the part behavior. Thus, contours, fringes, clipping, 3D threshold isosurface, animation, markers, 2D and 3D vectors, tensors, 2D and 3D curves etc may be used to easily get a pertinent insight into the structure. Post-processed results may be displayed in spreadsheet and word processor editing formats directly enabling the creation of computational reports.

Custom Applications

SYSTUS INTERFACE LANGUAGE (S.I.L.) is an actual integrated tool for designing custom application. S.I.L. provides a direct access to the SYSTUS database to manipulate, transform, filter, sort results quantities. Viewing utilities are available to display these results in a suitable manner. By identifying a set of variables which may be modified, SYSTUS user has the ability to parametrize and optimize his design processes, setting up a real coupled design-analysis loop. S.I. L. helps create a specific post processor offereing a wide range of programmed functions to concentrate only on custom features. This valuable capability speeds-up significantly the structural analysis process.
